The Diane Bryant Engineering Student Design Center (ESDC) is the primary prototyping and manufacturing facility for the UC Davis College of Engineering. Occupying a 23,000-square-foot space, the center facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration through flexible design zones and specialized laboratories. It offers comprehensive manufacturing capabilities, including traditional machining, advanced additive processes, and composites fabrication. The facility supports students throughout the entire design lifecycle, from initial project framing and prototyping to business model development. In addition to educational resources, the ESDC provides professional recharge services for institutional departments and research groups.
