Hansen Machine Works designs and manufactures snowpack and soil sampling equipment and provides machining, welding and fabrication services. The company has produced snowpack sampling gear since 1978 and the Precision Vessmeyer soil sampling tube since the mid-1970s, supplying universities and research organizations worldwide. Their product designs incorporate proprietary materials to reduce weight and improve structural integrity. Hansen Machine Works also performs equipment repair and general machine work for motorsports and racing customers.
