The Department of Physics and Astronomy Instrument Shop provides custom fabrication, design, construction and repair services for prototype research equipment. It supports experimental research and teaching laboratories within the College of Sciences, collaborating with faculty and students on the fabrication, modification and maintenance of scientific instruments and apparatus. The shop also fabricates vacuum vessels and performs precision machining for laboratory projects.
